I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

  • Writers Bar at hotel lobby an excellenet place
    paulthetourist
    Hong Kong, China | Nov 4, 2019

Had afternoon tea with friends at the Writers Bar of the Beijing Hotel NUO near Wangfujing, I learned that the hotel was known as the most luxurious hotel of the Orient in the 1900s. In the Bar is a 1920s polished wooden dance floor, the late chairman Mao Zedong said to have danced there. Writers Bar is the hotel's original drawing room, framed by French windows, excellent decor, dedicatd service. Good place to spend time with friends.

  • Historic hotel, in dire need of renvation

    Melbourne, Australia | Nov 3, 2019

Strange room layout, the bathroom upstairs from the main room. It is on the main street and the subway rumbles away underneath so it is a bit noisier than I expected. Next to forbidden city, etc so otherwise the location is good. But the wallpaper is peeling off. Good service.

  • Top Notch Service in a Beautiful Hotel in a Perfect Location
    MAChivers
    Belleair Beach, Florida | Oct 29, 2019

From the moment we walked in the door we knew this was the perfect choice. We were greeted by the manager Aref Sayegh. We received a nice surprise and were upgraded to a suite - #6513! All of the staff were extremely helpful - especially Anais Liu, who always greeted us with a smile. Once we checked into our beautiful room we also received some nuts and cookies! I would also highly recommend the breakfast! This is not something we normally do, but it was the best breakfast we had our entire stay in China! Kevin was amazing and also greeted us daily. The location is perfect and we were able to walk to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing Street. This is definitely the hotel to stay at when visiting Beijing!

  • Historic Hotel in The Heart of Beijing
    MenalS
    Orlando, Florida | Oct 25, 2019

Beijing Hotel Nuo (Not to be confused with the adjacent Beijing Hotel) hotel is just wonderful. It's historic. Built in 1917, it was the first hotel in Beijing. It has hosted dignitaries, and celebrities alike. The hotel is located right on Chang An Avenue, just about two thirds of a mile away from The Forbidden City and Tian'anmen Square, and just around the corner from famous Wangfujing Street. There are tons of restaurants around the area of Wangfujing. There is also a Family Mart on the street behind the hotel in case one need snacks or drinks etc. The entrance to Wangfujing metro station is just in front of the hotel. So, you can get to anywhere in Beijing.
The hotel itself is very luxurious. The lobby is richly appointed and has a very retro feel. The staff is extremely helpful, always smiling and more than happy to help. Check in and check out was quick and efficient.
We had booked the deluxe room which was large and nicely decorated. Hardwood floors, sofa, separate sitting area and a super comfy bed. The linens, mattress, pillows etc were of very high quality. There were also plenty of English channels (HBO, CNN, BBC, ESPN etc).. on TV which is not always the case at hotels in China. The bathroom was also quite large with a separate rain shower and tub. The amenities and the plush towels were also of very high quality. Wifi was free, fast and reliable and more than adequate for our needs. The only negative was that we could not control the temperature inside the room. Although cool outside the room got hot. So we had to open up the window in order to cool the room. However it did not help much during the day. During the nights it was fine. Nonetheless this hotel is great. I will surely be staying here on my next visit.
Getting to the hotel from the airport by taxi cost about 150 - 200 yuan depending on traffic. You can also take the airport express train which drops you off at Dongzhimen metro station and from there you can take metro line 2 to metro line 1 and get off at Wangfujing station. However, most metro stations in Beijing do not have a down escalator. so if you have luggage, I suggest taking a taxi.

I am thrilled that you had a memorable experience with us and the Ladies and Gentlemen were able to deliver a genuine and caring service throughout your stay in our hotel.
I apologize for the inconvenience with the temperature in the room.
It was a pleasure having you in our hotel during your visit in China's capital city. Looking forward in welcoming you again when your travel takes you back in Beijing.
