I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

  • Would have rated it good but issues with maintenance and care
    SF | Oct 9, 2015

The hotel has a lot going for it in terms of location pricing and comfort of room. So here is my update from this stay:
Pros: very reasonable price of $111 a night and very large room with oversized bathroom. Bed was very comfortable as were the pillows on the bed. Sufficient oversized towels and hot water right out the tap. All plumbing worked great. No smells in the water and good quality. Plenty of outlets and TV channels had sufficient western channels as well as movie channels. The pool area was very nice as was the exercise equipment. Security is very good at hotel and public areas seem well maintained. You can walk out the door to a nice mall 4-5 blocks away and the subway stop is very close by. Decent restaurant on the property which serves around the clock if you want to eat at 3pm. Nice breakfast buffet with mix of asian and western foods. Staff are very friendly and try in spite of the language barrier helpful.
Cons: There is missing a concept of maintenance and attention to detail. I will give two examples of what I mean. While sitting at breakfast one of the staff noticed a roach scurry on the floor so she calls for a waiter to take a can of raid and spray all along the edges of the entire restaurant while people were sitting there eating. No clue or concept that they probably should have waited till the restaurant was closed. Almost humorous to watch him spray everywhere. Needless to say I did not go back to eat there again. The second example was our bathroom floor. I used a towel to mop up some excess water on the floor and made the mistake to look at the hand towel. It looked dirty so I kept using it mop the bathroom floor and by the time I was finished the towel was almost black. This tells me the maid service does not include the basic training to clean the tile floors daily. This could have been caused by pollution coming into the building during recent horrendous air smog but either way it reflects lack of training on maintenance and cleaning.
Otherwise I would have given it a good rating.

  • Love this hotel
Canberra, Australia | Oct 7, 2015 | Trip type: Business

The hotel was absolutely a great one in Beijing. The location is perfect. The suite room was huge, including the bathroom, and it has a (small) walk in wardrobe. The view was beautiful, looking over the city skyscrapers. The staff were also lovely and the service was excellent. Overall, I love this hotel and definitely will come back again next time I visit Beijing.

  • Great hotel

  • Comveniently located at CBD, Comfy big room, Recommended!

I have stayed in this hotel for 3 times - the hotel is very conveniently at CBD so it pretty much offers one of the best locations if you need to visit or work around the CBD area. Compared to other super expensive hotels e.g. Kerry, China World, this is a less pricy alternative. But if you are in tighter budget, check out Traders Hotel. This hotel is newer than Traders with a fantastic gym facilities and nice swimming pool! It is a hotel where you can relax and exercise after a long day work. Food is bit pricy. Throughout my expensive, the price of the hotel seem varying quite remarkably from time to time - I suspect it's due to peak/low season. But during some promotion period you may get a good price similar to that of Traders in the neighborhood. Overall, a very nice hotel for both business and individual travelers.
