I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

Stayed here in early November - my first visit to China. Tried to keep an open mind but had read reviews from other travellers: hard to fathom how a 4-star hotel could staff the front desk with all non-English speaking receptionists. Seated nearby, waiting for my son to meet me, I had the chance to observe other travellers also struggling to communicate over basic things like payment, checking out etc. The room & bed were comfortable, but the bathroom & shower were tired & overdue for renovation/upgrading. Breakfast was adequate but catered more for Asian tastes. However, the coffee was surprisingly very good!! The pastries were really awful: clearly not a priority to employ a pastry chef! One thing which was very off putting, to me & other Western guests: is the acceptance of loudly coughing & spitting in the restaurant while people are eating breakfast! I had to leave the restaurant more than once & chose more wisely where I sat after that. The location was good, shopping mall & metro nearby.

  • close to the city center
    Gdansk | Jan 8, 2018 | Trip type: Business

Close to the main square with underground station nearby this big hotel offers a good accommodation in comfy rooms. maybe too acoustically made doors and windows, but was ok. good breakfast and efficient service. complimentary water in the room and all needed facilities on site.

  • A really good hotel :)
    Dec 29, 2017 | Trip type: Couples

We stayed here for a week over Christmas and had a great time. The hotel is very fancy décor-wise when you enter, but as we live in China, we know that this does not mean that the inside is good! I was surprised on this occasion however. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed a good breakfast each day and dinner some nights in the hotel. There are some western options to choose from as well as all the Chinese cuisine. We enjoyed some tea in the speciality tea shop although would not recommend the lattes etc if you are western and enjoy a good coffee. I got a latte and it was basically hot water with foam and horrible syrup on the top- not good. However, I have learnt that coffee here is not the same as home, so do not judge the hotel for this. I was able to get lovely filter coffee with hot milk at breakfast.
The bedroom we got was ok, it was quite a good size, comfortable, good bathroom size, TV with quite a number of channels, phone, room service book, etc. We got room service a few times and it was always really nice, I particularly enjoyed a bowl of chips, which made me feel like I was at home! The room was well cleaned each day.
The location of the hotel is very good- only minutes away from the subway, which was very handy for getting to the tourist spots, etc.
We seen traditional Mongolian music and singing being performed in the hotel by the two horse statues, this was really lovely to see.
I did not like that we could smell smoke all the time in the hotel, this is something that should be tackled by hotel or the security guards that are often in the hotel. We have witnessed this in other hotels in China, despite it being prohibited indoors.
We felt that the staff's level of English was quite good, we were able to communicate with them without any problem.
Over all, I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

  • Good Location
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam | Dec 26, 2017 | Trip type: Solo travel

Very good location, just minutes walk to the subway station.
Room was clean, facilities are consider okay for the price pay for.
No bell service, take care of luggage yourself. Concierge may help with map, taxi or attractions.
Housekeeping is friendly but receptionist is not helpful especially with their English’s skill.

  • First time...
Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Philippines | Dec 18, 2017 | Trip type: Friends getaway

It was my first time in China, and I was a bit disappointed that in spite of staying in a 4 star hotel, I was surprised that not everyone speaks good English... it was frustrating coz I know that their staff wanted to give good service but due the language barrier, guests would end up being frustrated. Rooms were spacious but needs better attention specially on cleanliness. Its not bad, but I was just expecting a bit more...location was perfect...its next to a subway station...
