I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

We had a fabulous room at this hotel in September. The room was spacious and very modern with electronic everything!
My one word of warning would be that leaving the hotel be VRY careful when crossing the roads as traffic can be hazardous.
    Great place to stay!

This was an excellent hotel. location close to the subway made it easy to get around. Check for specials on the hotel website as we managed an upgrade to the gold lounge. Would highly recommend this hotel.

During a short trip to Beijing, decided to stay at Fairmont as it is one of the most reliable larger hotels that provides consistent quality service. Hotel car picked me up at airport as arranged and got upgraded to a Gold suite upon arrival. Very spacious room with all best modern amenities. Gold lounge staff offered excellent service and great advice for sightseeing, and made you feel very welcome. The only slight downside is the hotel location.. not close enough to major sights for walking.

We were booked into this hotel through Viking Cruises. The hotel was amazing and above our expectations. Close to the Silk Market for some quick shopping. Excellent service throughout. Highly recommend.

Nice clean room. Near subway. Needs competent concierges. We wanted to go to a highly recommended duck restaurant. Asked concierge about making reservations. He did not call but we're told "Does not accept reservations." At 8pm we ask for a taxi, 21rmb later we arrive at restaurant. Closed at 8pm. 22rbm back to hotel. Vague apology from concierge. Suggest we try duck downstairs....we tried but 1 hour required to prepare and they were closing soon. Left hungry and annoyed. To the room for mediocre room service. The next night we try for a highly recommended traditional hot pot. We are assured by the concierge that they close at 9.30. When we arrive in the lobby to get a taxi at 8pm we are told...oops, they close at 9pm. Sent to a hot pot that felt like a cafeteria. Another night of Beijing dining wrecked. Offered one day of free "lounge access". Totally useless to us because unfortunately our last day will be spent in the room due to last nights dinner, instead of one last day of exploring. Few employees speak English and even fewer understand it. The other day I went to the desk and asked for a few extra towels......the two associates at the desk did not know what a towel was......... All we get from "managers" is so sorry...sorry. We did not fly halfway around the world to eat in disappointing restaurants! We like to eat the best local cuisine but two nights of high expectations were ruined. 6 nights here.....lets hope the next 3 weeks in China are a vast improvement.
