I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

  • A prettified Hutong in a convenient location

After a scary walk through the streets of Beijing there we found this hotel. What a lovely surprise! it gave me the feeling of walking through a prettified version of a Hutong or neighbourhood in China. The rooms were big and decorated with antique/shabby chic furniture that gave the feeling of bygone era. With a tree in the middle of the bathroom, this was for certain the rooms of Chinese families that have been converted into this delightful hotel. It is by no means as luxurious as the professional photos may suggest, but it won't be a traumatic experience.
It is located right next to a great shopping street where one kind find anything, pretty much anything you may possible want.
Without a guide I would have never found this place, certainly not in my first time in China. This Hotel should offer a pick up service.

A nice quiet hidden hotel in the middle nanluoguxiang. Nice pedestrian street nearby for food and shopping.

Plus: decor is phenominal. Staff is friendly. Breakfast has nice variety.

Minus: poor sound insulation. Wifi iffy.

  • Amazing Location and very quirky. .

We spent three nights here and the place couldn't have been a better choice. It was a stopover on a great railway journey - Yorkshire to Hong Kong by Train. We arrived early morning and were allowed to check in straight away and even were offered breakfast - more of which later. The location is amazing - right in the middle of one of the older parts of Beijing with plenty of history around and though the facilities were modern and very comfortable the sense of history outside and into the lobby was splendid. There was no bar or evening meal service on site but plenty of cafes, bars and shops to satisfy tourist and local markets.

Breakfast was typical Chinese buffet style - we loved all of the fresh fruit, yoghurt, cold fried eggs and typical continental buffet stuff but the stars were the Noodles, Dumplings and "Fried rice with food" Strangely the coffee was already with milk. . .

The room had a spacious shower room ensuite, a superb Chinese style bed a TV (that we didn't even try to switch on) and plenty of storage room, a safe and a kettle - exactly what you need after a week on a train through Siberia and Northern China.

A splendid place to explore and really helpful staff and fellow-guests.

    We would go again.

This was our first stay in an hotel in China and we were a bit surprised at the location. We arrived late afternoon to find the taxi could not go up the street to the hotel which meant we had drag our luggage 100meters so up the street which had been excavated to repair the water mains so not the most appealing start to our China stay. But we enjoyed the location, the hotel was no worse than some French Hotels and could do with some renovation, it was clean & breakfast was OK. The staff were helpful & friendly. We loved walking the Hutongs in the evenings which were really buzzing
