I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

  • Good location but had to pay for WiFi in room

Mossel Bay, South Africa | Oct 14, 2015 | Trip type: Business

The Hilton Hotel group is upmarket and there is no question about it. Our stay at this specific one was great in terms of location, since we had an early flight the next morning, this was a wonderful option for beating the Beijing traffic.
Rooms are clean and have everything you need. The only downer was the restaurant and having to pay for extremely slow WiFi. You do get free WiFi in the lobby, but if you want WiFi in your room you have to pay for it. You kind of feel that because its 5 star you would expect some bang for your buck. And the WiFi was the slowest we have experienced in all of our China trip... The upside is that you can access normal sites like Google or Facebook that are usually blocked in China.
The Chinese Restaurant (there are two) also did not blow my mind. It was not bad, we were just expecting it to be great since it is located in a Hilton Hotel (Kind of expected that you would get what you pay for).
Don't get me wrong, its not a bad place, just expected a little more.

  • Practical for travelling out of Beijing, clean, good room. Food expensive

The plus is the 5 minutes from the airport, the shuttle every 25 minutes, the kind staff, the big room that you don-t enjoy so much as you have to wake/up early normally!!! The negative is the expensive buffet choice we made, if you're not hungry, choose a la carte. We spent 1000 yuan in 2 people but were not eating so much. Overall very good when you travel.

I was especially impressed by the professionalism and very high standard level of the front desk staff especial Mr. John Liang the Guest service manager, this Hotel should feel honored to have such a high standard lever employee.

  • Hilton Beijing Capital Airport equals WOW!

WOW is the first thing that I thought when I entered the Hilton at Beijing Capital Airport. I was met by friendly staff personnel who took my bag and showed me the way to the reservation desk. It was a little difficult to understand the reservation person but she gave a gallant effort in speaking English. I originally reserved a King bed room, none were available so I accepted a two twin bed room. I was totally satisfied; the room was immaculately clean. The bathroom had a large tub and shower. The room had a micro-wave, refrigerator (full of snacks), and a 32 inch HD TV. I could only find 4 channels that spoke English but I didn’t spend a lot of time in the room anyway. Wi-Fi – was free in my room.
The hotel has a restaurant, but I found it to be very expensive. I felt that at least the breakfast buffet should have been included with the cost of the room. Oh well maybe next.
The exercise room was very nice, equipped with plenty of cardio machines, free weights, and universal gym. The indoor pool was perfect for lap swimming.
If you have never driven in Beijing, I would recommend finding a guide. The traffic was horrendous. People turn a three lane road into a four lane. Caution: Pedestrians do not have the right-away, so be careful if you are walking around sightseeing.
Beijing has plenty of tourist traps are available; I give two thumbs up for the Great Wall with beautiful mountains as far as the eye can see. They have a gondola that took me up the side of the mountain to reach the entrance to the wall. Note: I would recommend that if you have any health problems that would prevent you from walking extremely steep sections of the wall, try another attraction that is less stressful. Don’t forget water and comfortable walking shoes. Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City were extremely crowded, with people pushing and shoving so they could look inside the Emperors Palace. Be prepared to spend at least two hours of walking through the different section of the city to enjoy the grandeur and beauty. Overall the Forbidden City was well worth a thumb up and I would go again if given the opportunity.
