I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

  • Great location but some improvements needed
Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia | Nov 11, 2015 | Trip type: Business

We stayed here during a recent business trip to Beijing.
Firstly we chose this hotel due to its location. It is just of Wangfujing Street main shopping boulevard area. The other major attractions like Tienanmen Square and Forbidden City are just a short taxi ride away.
For Beijing standards the hotel rate falls in the mid-range. It is an average size hotel and the staff are quite helpful with all our needs. The rooms are of average size though the bathroom is a bit tight but manageable. I feel the hotel is quite good in general. The main qualm I have is the beds in the room are really hard and feel like its devoid of a mattress. Most of the other items are manageable and perhaps some refurbishment needs to be done, for example the carpets are a big aged.
The breakfast area is a nice open area with a high ceiling with the rooms on higher floors overlooking into this area. The food itself is average but to be expected for a hotel in this price range.
Overall it is a good budget hotel but could truly be better with major improvement in the bedding provided in the rooms.

  • Great location but not great hotel
    Shropshire | Nov 9, 2015 | Trip type: Couples

Very sorry to say that I was very disappointed with this hotel,we were given complimentary upgrade due to celebrating our anniversary, the staff were very helpful but the room was extremely basic and not sufficiently clean,we complained and were given another room which was slightly better. I can cope with basic as long as clean. The bed was the hardest I have ever slept on,not good but the location was fantastic, right in the centre of things and walking distance to the forbidden city etc. unfortunately I wouldn't stay there again but the staff were as helpful as they could be.

  • Great Location, but...

The location is awesome and outweighs most minor negatives about this hotel. Just steps outside of the front door is Wangfujing, shopping, malls, 24 hour McDonalds, etc. if you are ok with a short walk, Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City are also within reasonable walking distance. The location is so good that I've stayed here twice! The subway is also just a short walk.
If you are a patient person and don't have too much luggage, the Airport express is manageable. It was 28RMB total and only two transfers. (I would not recommend this with kids. Few escalators and Line 2 was pretty crowded) Take "Exit B" from the subway at Wangfujing, walk towards the McDonalds sign and turn right at the McDonalds. It's half a block on your right.
I have not had any difficulty with the staff or communication with them. Their English is adequate and they are very kind. They will arrange late checkout and help arranging transportation back to the airport (no shuttle - metered cab)
However, if you plan to spend much time in the room, they are adequate and really have everything you need, but the beds are just BAD. They are rock hard and give little comfort above sleeping on the floor. The wifi was a little frustrating too, but if you are here for sights and shopping this one may be perfect for you! If the beds were even average, I'd gladly rate this one a "5."

  • Well located
Grand Bay Mauritius | May 20, 2015 | Trip type: Family

Hotel is well-located in Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, next to MacDonalds, other restaurants, shops, etc. Staff was very good, helped my family checked-in rapidly on our arrival and helped us for the taxi service on our departure. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

  • Very pleased
Beijing Region, China | Apr 26, 2015 | Trip type: Couples

One of the better hotels, located directly on wangfujing street. I loved my stay here, with my girlfriend. No nagging issues, and hotel staff were warm and friendly! It was a great experience. Highly recommended. Especially since it's so close to the subway, it's very convienant access.
Just one issue, which is really a non issue but sometimes the housekeeping made it seem like a bother if we called down to ask for another towel or something. That did annoy me, but nothing other than that. Housekeeping is really lacking in the "warm friendly service " area though, unlike their colleagues at front desk/ lobby. They probably need to learn how to be more hospitable. They never smiled, and one of the ladies who brought me toe nail clippers looked at me and discussed me in chinese with her colleague.
