We had a great stay at the Dragon Hotel. The service was excellent. Our room was spacious and clean. The WiFi was very fast. Located about 3 blocks from the lake, we enjoyed the quiet location rather than the more crowded lake area.
Great hotel with excellent services, but needs to improve English skills of personnel

Magnificent hall, check in and check out procedures a bit slow, good restaurants, both the Chinese one (slow service) and the breakfast buffet. Nice swimming pool. Good wifi service.
Our room a suite 60703 is just fantastic (2 independent rooms and a living room and 3 bathrooms), but somehow lacking the service attention in the turn down services and in checking if all the amenities are correctly supplied.
All together though we had a lovely stay and I'd recommend the hotel.
Nice hotel. Will visit again

A first class hotel. Well maintained, with spacious rooms with lots of gadgets and courteous staff. One traveler complained about its western style breakfast. In my opinion it is quite good, comparing to most places. Personally I find that complaint somewhat silly. I have stayed in numerous hotels in the West, and I'm yet to find one that serves Chinese style breakfast. So should I give negative remarks since they don't serve what I'm used to at home?
But I do have some issue with its slow and erratic wifi. Although I know the Chinese policy makes it difficult to access google, it is still slow even for some websites that are not supposed to be blocked. But for the price and what it offers, I will still stay there next time I visit.
Clean and Comfortable, with Room for Improvement

Disclaimer: I was there only for one day for a short business trip. So it might not be an accurate reflection of a full experience.
Location-wise, the hotel was about an hour from the airport, and very conveniently located near major tourist sites. However, it was a bit of a challenge to look for food around the hotel.
The hotel itself was big -- and it was quite a bit of walking from place to place. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-decorated. The hotel was hi-tech -- one could tap his/her key card in the elevator, and signs on the wall would light up to lead him/her from the elevator to the room. This was probably welcome as the hotel was big and one might need several turns before reaching the room. One thing odd about the hotel room was that the TV was odd to one side, making it not particularly comfortable to watch TV in bed (the TV was directly across from the wardrobe).
As indoor smoking is allowed, one could smell cigarette smoke from time to time. Sometimes when there were a bunch of people smoking outside the ballrooms, the smell could be very intense!
The breakfast was fine, with occasional peculiarities. The crepe station made crepes with funny texture and odd fillings (spicy sausages, deep fried dough, and spring onions!). The bread-cutting board did not come with a piece of cloth for people to hold the bread to cut, rendering it useless. The choice was quite wide and reasonable otherwise.
Place for smoker, better not a drinker
Vielreisende RBeijing, China | Mar 12, 2015 | Trip type: Business
overall it is not this bad but you smell cigarrettes anywhere, not only in my room.
the premises is huge, buildings are not high, instead a few 'towers' with a bit of a confusing layout.
anyway, the highlights:
- bar is bad, most of the menu not on stock
+ somehow someone shows up who speaks a bit of english
+ breakfast if you don't insist in western style
- breakfast if you do, as sad as usual in china
- bed is pretty worn out, but did nit try their 'pillow menu'
