For location its might be good choice! Price is not expensive and reasonable! Service provided not professional and a bit rude. If you expect good service it's not a good choice.. If you choose for the location .. U can considerable about it.
David RLijiang, China | Sep 15, 2015 | Trip type: Friends getaway
This hotel was definitely not what I expected.
You see, I expected something terrible and it ended up being wonderful. I went to Shanghai to spend some time with a friend from abroad who was staying for some days in the city. He was staying at this hotel and told me to stay there so we didn't have to go to all the trouble of coordinating if we were in different places.
But when I looked for the reviews online they were appalling, so I had serious doubts about staying there but I trusted my friend's judgement and I am glad I did.
I took the only room they had available at the time. I thought 333 RMB a night was quite expensive for a normal hotel room. But my room turned out to be a suite, with its own living room with a big TV, kitchen, laundry machine and everything. So for that price I think it was a very good deal.
The room was really comfortable and every day they kept it clean and nice. Because I just stayed for a few days I never used the kitchen facilities other than the fridge, but I did notice there were no plates, glasses, silver ware or any kind of kitchen utensils, again for me this wasn't a problem but it may be so for someone staying a long time.
I also did not try the hotel restaurant, but you really have no need as there are plenty of options for eating all around the hotel, from cheap and local to expensive and international. For example right next to the hotel there is this very beautiful Japanese restaurant, its a bit pricey but I thought it was really nice.
But for food your best bet would be the great food court at the nearby mall. The one where the subway station, they really have everything you may want for a decent price and great quality (For westerners that having been in Asia a food court at a subway station may sound not great, but believe me this is kind of posh even).
The location of this hotel is incredible. Not only it is close to a subway station, its a few minutes walk from trendy Taikan Lu pedestrian street, which is full of galleries, bars, coffee shops and restaurants. Its also a measly 20 RMB taxi ride away from the French Concession and about 30 RMB to the Bund.
The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool, a sauna and a hair saloon. I didn't try those out but the pool looked quite nice.
So I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shanghai. I seriously don't know where those terrible reviews come from, but they did not match my experience in this hotel.

Beside good Location, there is nothing much I could comment nor recommend for both Business and Leisure Stay.
Poor maintenance ,Unfriendly Staff,Lack of Eating/Drinking Facilities and more..
Be prepared for any Unhygienic room allocated due to bad ventilation from Cooking next door.
DO NOT EVEN BOOK THIS PLACE!
Shinz CNew York City, New York | Oct 4, 2015 | Trip type: Friends getaway
When we booked this place, there was room available. However, when we arrived, the hotel reception was RUDE and unhelpful, saying that their system had overbooked and did not refresh the website. He offered no help, and since we had booked with HOTELS.COM, hotels.com sorted us out without any issues. However, the problem is with this hotel's management, and irresponsible staff. He was also rude and did not even apologize for their mistake. Warning, if you don't want to be stranded in the middle of the night like we did, DO NOT STAY here!
burgerdencAbu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates | Sep 22, 2015 | Trip type: Friends getaway
This hotel is absolutely shocking. The rooms are dirty and dated. The whole place stinks of cigarettes. The swimming pool was like a cloudy green swap (no chance I was going anywhere near that). The whole of the "leisure area" stank of damp and mould. There is no useable wifi. There are a number of long term residents that live here who don't keep the place clean. Food scraps and rubbish are left outside people's room,
