I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

    Sydney | Feb 17, 2019 | Trip type: Family

Stayed for 6 nights in January as part of a Family Holiday. Paid extra on arrival for upgrade to Bund View room which was worth it.
The hotel is immaculately presented and rooms are extremely spacious with large walk in robes.
Breakfast is perfect with wide choice of pre-made & made to order options
Service is first class and nothing is to much trouble for staff.
Location is perfect on the Bund close to shopping & tourist attractions
In room dinning is good. Bar Menu food at Sir Ellys Bar however was disappointing
Definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in & would highly recommend.

Dallas, Texas | Feb 3, 2019 | Trip type: Couples

We were fortunate to stay at the Peninsula Shanghai in October, 2018. The hotel exceeds all expectations. Best location in Shanghai. The view from our 12th floor room overlooking the Bund was outstanding. You can sit on your balcony and watch the river traffic morning and night. The Shanghai skyline across the river is spectacular. The amenities are over the top. There is a walk-in closet the size of a small bedroom with room for your suitcases and clothes which also includes a large dressing table with lighted mirror and every amenity (such as a wipe for your computer screen) you can imagine. The bathroom has fabulous shower, tub, two sinks and separate loo (all requirements for an upscale hotel). Free shoe shine, of course. The concierge gave us excellent advice on where to walk and what to see before our tour started. Food excellent though pricey, but you pay for the ambiance. Go for it if your budget allows.

One of the important reason force us to Shanghai for family luxury is the Jazz band
    at the Peninsula Hotel!
The enjoyment can’t explain by words ,
if you been there you will understand our feeling!
and the warm service from the lobby cafe staffs!
Beside, our family decide next trip to Shanghai, only stay at Peninsula, if you looking for excellent warm service and value for money, you won’t go to other place!
