I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

  • Absolutely lovely peaceful hotel

New York City, New York | Sep 23, 2015 | Trip type: Couples

If you desire to find a hotel in the western part of Shanghai (not far from the International Airport) this is an excellent choice. It is more of a retreat or compound with beautiful grounds and gardens and numerous buildings. The main hotel building is tastefully, even elegantly decorated with beautiful aesthetic touches. The common rooms are spacious and inviting, mostly with atriums or views to the gardens. It only has two floors in this building. The breakfast was absolutely overwhelming in terms of the range of choices, the tasty dishes, western, eastern, virtually anything including dishes I have never seen. The staff and service are excellent. I had read on Trip Advisor that the rooms were small. This was not the case in our room with a double king-size bed. The bathroom is a bit small, true, but not the room. The gym and pool are not located in this main building, but there is a shuttle service on a large gold-cart type vehicle that brings you back and forth. And the pool and gym and sauna and steam rooms are excellent.

  • Communist party know how to live
Jul 11, 2015 | Trip type: Friends getaway

Former private CCParty retreats are now open to parties and events as well as hotel stays.
The grounds are lovely. Ambiance is formal but laid back.
The rooms are spacious enough to not feel cramped. Ours overlooked the garden on the first floor.
From the outside it looks like a generic Ramada. in but inside is quite lovely with original paintings on the wall and decorative bonsai and other Asian objects.
Very helpful staff when your wifi is off. Or getting taxis and dinner reservations.
Located in the outskirts it is near the Chabad so you see many Orthodox Jews about.

It was a wise decision to stay here. You can catch the bullet train, subway all from this location. Rooms are small but comfortable. Even without the language all the signs are in English making it easy for travelers to get around. The location has many restaurants to grab local or western fast foods.
The price of 500. Rmb was very reasonable for what was received.

I have visited this hotel sporadically over the last 13 years. Nothing to do with this hotel but more with where my business tends to be in Shanghai.
The last time I was here was 2008 and nothing has changed here in a city that is constantly in change. For me this is a huge plus because the hotel is simply super… and fulfils all my needs
The hotel grounds are very beautiful and in spring and fall are great to walk around.
The hotel block which I was in (there are other rooms and apartments too) was great.
The rooms were in perfect shape
    • Bathroom very clean and in great shape
    • Internet good and free
    • TV good with English channels
    • Mini bar fully stocked at fair prices
    • Bed and linens were great
The staff were spot on and I got the impression they were very well trained.
    The restaurant and bar…
Well this is something that they never seem to have got right. Breakfast was very good .Dinner – well I can`t put my finger on it but the atmosphere is uncomfortable, the staff try (too) hard but it isn’t a great experience. The food isn’t that good and it isn’t cheap.
Having said this, I can relax and wind down here. It is within walking distance from a lot of shops and restaurants such as the HongMei Lu entertainment street.

  • Good please but.....
Gardiner, Montana | Apr 14, 2015 | Trip type: Family

We had a nice 10 day stay. The rooms are small but comfortable and quiet. The beds in the two full size room are very hard but we slept well. The housekeeping is just ok, they try hard but do not see the bigger picture. The bathroom had mold and we had to show them so they would clean it. The buffet breakfast was very good but expensive. The service overall was very good but we had a few problems. We ordered steaks in the restaurants and they were terrible and very expensive. I complained to the manager Fenn Wang and he just blew us off. The rest of the staff was very helpful!
The Pool was great. It is in a health spa with wet and dry saunas, hot tub, weight room and more and it is included in your stay. This property is enormous and they offer a complimentary oversize golf cart ride to get there.
This is a nice property and I would recommend this hotel. Just do not order steaks or deal with Fenn Wang, a Duty Manager if possible.
