    The hotel was everything I needed, spacious comfortable rooms, efficient service etc. Enjoyed a peaceful breakfast in the executive lounge, hotel limo service was very efficient (and safe!) Would stay again,

    Location is good, very closed to MRT station. Hotel with good infrastructure, but the maintenance is not up to standard, some areas were damaged or not in good condition. For example, the shower head was damaged, dirts on the carpet, etc.

    All staff were decent with good attitude, however, their soft skill still has room to improve.

    I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights for a city trip. The location is quite convenient (2-3 metro stops in each direction to various sights or bar districts), although the hotel did not impress me much, being ranked as a 5* hotel. English is somewhat spoken, the breakfast covers all the needs, the rooms certainly nothing to write home about, and felt small compared to other Accor properties (5*) I've been to in China. Especially the bathroom may need a make-over (some tiles were loose).

    So first of all, this hotel brands itself as a 5 star hotel but it really is a 4 star hotel. I often sta there on business trip and this one was the first time I brought my wife and kid with me.
    First, the good things.
    - The location is great, next to the subway station, not far from O'Plaza by cab (8min drive).
    - Staff at the swimming pool was kind and friendly. They were more than attentive when our little daughter (2 years 1/2) was in the water with me.
    - Breakfast was fine with a lot of choices but juice wasn't fresh fruit juice but rather coming from a prepared fresh juice supplier.
    - The room was comfortable and large. We had a corner room which is great because we had windows on two walls instead of one, which brought a lot of natural light.
    - The staff at the Japanese restaurant on the 25th floor was great especially the chef.
    - Good quality/price ratio for Shenzhen
    Then the bad things:
    - At check-in, I was told that the room was not ready (it was 13 o'clock). Our baby daughter was sleeping in my wife's hand and we were really hoping to get to our room. Nothing was suggested, not an upgrade to an available room.
    - As a silver member, I had to ask for the welcome drink voucher. They didn't notice I was a member, although I was in the Accor Guest queue.
    - Worst, we've been waiting in the coffee in the lobby, and they were supposed to come to us when the room was ready. They didn't. We had to go and ask ourselves.
    - Following the above, I usually receive a survey from every Accor hotel after my stay. I am still waiting for them to send it to me or maybe they just don't because they know it would be a bad review.
    - Chinese restaurant on the 3rd floor is quite pricey. I had to wait 10 minutes for the invoice to be printed. People switched several times while I was standing there.
    - Air con was quite noisy but we just switched it off at night.
