I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

    Perth | Oct 9, 2015 | Trip type: Couples

The Pan Pacific has a very attractive pagoda style foyer area. The whole place is a confusing mess to get around. Going from the room to the breakfast bar or back to hotel lobby area is a long roundabout route. The rooms themselves are very nice, the bed comfortable and the breakfast bar was great. Its located close to the river so its a lovely stroll to enjoy the river area. Across the road and just around the corner are some amazing restaurants. Despite the layout of the hotel it was a very pleasant stay.

  • Confusing!

Cape Town, South Africa | Oct 8, 2015 | Trip type: Couples

Attractive building style, lovely gardens which are well worth a walk through. But hotel is a nightmare to negotiate - different wings not connected to each other and a trip to lobby (on 3rd floor),restuarant or entrance entailed walking very far and having to up and down different elevators.
Rooms spacious. Problem with shower and TV attended to very quickly and efficiently

  • Beautiful
Ottawa, Ontario | Oct 6, 2015 | Trip type: Friends getaway

We had a bit of trouble checking in because all of our group were given incorrect key cards. This was quickly remedied by our tour guide. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal but this hotel is not easy to get around - a real maze! Other than that, the grounds are exceptionally beautiful - don't forget to bring your hotel key card and visit the gardens. Also very close to the canal (river?) - a beautiful walk at night.

  • Nice hotel but struggles to cope with crowds..
    Jon D
Shanghai, China | Oct 6, 2015 | Trip type: Family

We stayed at the PP hotel over the October national holidays for one night. It's a busy time but even so the hotel was completely unprepared for the guests behaviour. In the pacific club (lounge area) any food brought out was immediately whisked away by guests hoarding on their tables. Mountains of wasted food on tables and nothing left for anyone unwilling to push in and copy those around them. Same thing at breakfast the next day. We ended up having a bowl of cereal each - hardly a 5 star breakfast. Either the hotel should have policed the poor behaviour of been ready to refill buffets at short notice. It's a nice hotel but we couldn't wait to leave.

  • A nice hotel built by the sites of ancient ruins, the best place to stay in Suzhou!
Shanghai, China | Oct 5, 2015 | Trip type: Friends getaway

There are many hotels in China built with Chinese building elements, however often badly handled, end up you feel either not comfortable, or not functional, or not harmonized. But Pan Pacific Suzhou ( used to be called Wugong Sharaton Suzhou ) is not the case. Although the buildings still costs a lot to heat up in the winters, to cool down in the summers, walking through corridors, or looking into gardens, you may dream that you were back to hundreds years Suzhou.
I've stayed in this Hotel a few times, always feel very touched. My last time were with a friend from UK. I showed her the Garden behind the Hotel ( free access for all Hotel residences ), she was simply stunned by the history of Rui-Guang Pagoda and the ruins of Wu castle.
Highly recommend even you just stay for one night!
